The project for a New Aromatics Complex started!

KT – Kinetics Technology has kicked off the activities for the execution of the New Aromatics Complex (the NAC project) for OMV Petrom, in the Petrobrazi Refinery, located in Romania.

The NAC PROJECT relates to the execution on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) basis of a new aromatics complex that will be replacing the existing aromatics unit. The NAC project will implement the following sections: a gasoline reformate splitter, an aromatics extraction plant as well as a separation plant.

The NAC project is part of a wider investment program at Petrobrazi Refinery aimed at increasing the process’s efficiency and ensuring the highest environmental standards, contributing to OMV Petrom’s path towards its decarbonization targets.
